Grammar vs. Grammer

Such carelessness is appalling.

Kelsey Grammer appeared to be a happily married man of 13 years when his now ex-wife Camille Grammer signed on to be appear on the reality hit Real Housewives of Bevery Hills.

However when the show was filiming this July Kelsey, 55, decided to divorce Camille. Now only that, she was quickly replaced by 29-year old Katye Walsh. A flight attendant.
Now Camille believes that Kelsey insisted she appear on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in order to pursue a relationship with Walsh. [source]

This was so poorly written that if I missed something I wouldn't be surprised.

It's All About Britney

This piece was titled “Kevin Federline’s Grocery Guys” but seemed to focus more on Britney Spears and her new album.

Producer Sean Garrett, who's been working with the Toxic singer, says, "I totally respect Britney's privacy, so I have to keep it low ... But I'm in a total creative zone, and I'm all about creating the hits. I'm producing some serious bombs. It's going to be a hot *ss album." [source]
They meant hot ass album, right?

Purple Haze

Even though a great deal of entertainment news comes from blogs, attention to detail is vital. Try to find the definition of beem, let me know what it means when you find it. The following is a snippet about Prince's upcoming tour.
"Dates haven’t beem announced just yet, but according to US Magazine, the music legend will bring along Janelle Monae, Mint Condition, Esperanza Spalding and more, as supporting acts for the tour, dubbed the “Welcome 2 America” Tour."  [source}

Halle In Red

The word highlighted in red is a feeble attempt to describe the relationship between Halle Berry, and her love interest Olivier Martinez.

The Oscar winner dazzled in a red Yves Saint Laurent, and the "inspearable" pair -- who co-star in the upcoming film 'Dark Tide' -- were smiling and clearly "smitten," according to Us. A witness near their dinner table says Berry's new boyfriend was "constantly leaning in and whispering in Halle's ear, making her laugh.[source]

The Merriam–Webster Dictionary defines inseparable as incapable of being separated. We will have to wait and see if that is the case with Halle’s new romance.

Perverted Gleeks

I like Glee and Lea Michele as much as the next Gleek, but this piece threw me off.

Call me a prev, but I like these Glee school girls photos. Leah Michelle in a school locker room spread eagle. The geniuses at GQ and Terry Richardson all deserve a raise. Glee chicks in their panties. Way to go Fox 5. Fire Bill O and you’ll have a fan. But then again I think its safe to day local Fox stuff Awesome. Fox News… The Devil. [source]

1.     “Perv” not “prev” (Perv is short for pervert)
2.     Girls should be singular. (Girl)
3.    The proper spelling is Lea Michele not Leah Michelle
4.    If the sentence about the panties had to be included, it should have been placed immediately after the sentence about Lea being spread eagle.
5.    The last sentence should read: It’s safe to say local Fox programming is awesome.

Small Words Add Up To A Big Mistake

Was the person that wrote this in a rush? Though there are less than fifty words several mistakes were made. Remember, it only takes a minute to proofread..

Melyssa Ford might of retired from the music videos but she still is active in magazine photo shoots and her must up to date work is the upcoming 2011 Winter King Magazine. Check out a excerpt from her interview with King magazine.

1. Replace "of" with "have"
2. Remove "the"
3. "Is" should replace "still" and vice versa.
4. "Most" should replace "must"
5. Run-on sentence

Did I miss anything?

Dallas Who

Things must be pretty bad at this media outlet. The second word is misspelled, and that happens to be the name of the team.

"Dallas Maerick's SUPERSTAR Dirk Nowiski loves himself some sisters. It figures . . . he's originally from GERMANY . . . and you know how they GETS DOWN!!! [source]

The name of the team is Dallas Mavericks. Isn't the correct spelling of the team important?

Giving Credit When None Is Due

Whenever a media outlet breaks a story, they want to take credit. My question is why would you want credit for poor publishing?

MediaTakeOut is known for using this disclaimer : Members of the press are REQUIRED to credit MediaTakeOut.com for this ORIGINAL report. Failure to do so constitutes PLAGIARISM

The correct spelling is photoed and yesterday. Though this story did not have a disclaimer, it should have had a proofreader.
